for the last couple of weeks, i've been working on my photography website. it's far from being finished. i liked the way my website looked before, but since i had used an Iweb template, it didn't have much functionality and making daily changes was a monumental task.so now i am chin deep in HTML and flash slideshows and designing headers and splash pages and the like. and i am trying to incorporate paypal into the equation along with the typical way of ordering.
designing this website made me realize the need for a logo/catchphrase. man! i've thought of a million! i wanted something that didn't lock me in to only one facet of my work....because i love it all - pictures of nature, abstract, portraits, landscapes, etc. and i also consider what i do "art" and i consider life itself "art" and so -
everything sifted down to this:
jaki good photography
celebrating the art of life
now - i need an image or two for my splash page (the front door of my site which i don't have yet) that illustrates this mantra.
please give me your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for the image that you feel best represents the phrase - "celebrating the ART of life"

After changing my mind a few times, I realise any of the displayed pics could portray "celebrating the art of life". #9 is my 1st choice, because it clearly shows the miracle of life, as well as the art of a child, the love and patience of moms, and the talent of the photographer to be able to capture it all in such a beautiful way. #6 is my 2nd choice, because it captures your skill of wedding portraits which would seem to draw in the largest #'s visiting your site. Third choice was the hardest to choose, but I'll choose #7, because I love the way you always bring out the eyes in your photographs. From soft puppy dog brown, to piercing blue, they're always fabulous, even in black and white.
9- it's my favorite picture you've ever taken...and there could be no greater caption for the picture than "celebrating the art of life". it's perfect!
8- because her body language and face show she's celebrating something and whatever it is, it is probably art.
5- the mother is celebrating the art of life--the child. :)

i agree with the other posters ~ 9 is a must. my second choice is #2, and the lovely rachel (#6) is my third pick.
#1 is my close fourth, if that counts for anything!

number 5( looks very natural...like you just happen to be walking by this mother and daughter and you had your camera in your hand and was able to catch this moment.)
number 1( this one almost doesn't even need a caption)
