a prayer for today:God - You have never forsaken me.
I have been selfish, rebellious, and even apathetic -
but you won't let go of me.
Your intoxicating love is as sure as the breath
i move in and out of my lungs.
You are patient, loving, and kind
and see beyond my self-preoccupation and limited vision.
I want to trust you RADICALLY.
Free me from Plato's cave.
Help me live this day and every day in the BIG picture -
in the willingness to spend my moments in your perfect vision.
Keep my mind and heart big.
Enable me to stay focused on You.
AMEN
p.s. and help me drop about 50 pounds!
