across the lake

this past weekend was a sledge hammer
that aggressively busted up
some of my stubborn notions....
shards flying to the left and to the right.

epiphany - eureka...

fell asleep

i keep learning - a crash course in life.

today carter went with me to get some pictures of some waverly landmarks...
carter asked me, "why are you so happy?"

i wish i could fully explain to him - to anyone who may be reading this - why i am happy. i am happy because of the sledge hammers that smash false realities and expose the truth.
i am happy because i am back in my Father's house - i've wasted years and slept with pigs - but my Father kept watch for me and longed for my return.
and to be loved like that is simply exhilarating.
and the many ways He speaks to me everyday-

old friends who have been by my side throughout my prodigality -
and new friends who support me on my quest to maslow's highest rung...
to actualize self....

carter - i am so happy because of you - you squeeze every drop out of life -
i am happy for these birch reflections in the milky green creek -

i am happy for the transition of awake and asleep - here i am on the bridge.
